Decode Computing exists for one reason: to help people prepare for the Computer Science section of Government and PSU recruitment exams — completely free. There are good paid platforms for this already. This isn't trying to be one of them. It's a straightforward, free alternative for anyone who can't or doesn't want to pay for exam prep, covering the core papers that keep showing up across these exams — Data Structures & Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Theory of Computation, and Computer Organization & Architecture.

The site is built around three things a candidate actually needs while preparing. Notes and solutions — short, original notes for each topic with a downloadable PDF and a solved question set, so you're not relying on scattered PDFs of unclear origin. Topic quizzes — a quick, no-login way to check whether a topic actually sank in before moving to the next one. And previous year papers — full mock papers timed like the real exam, with the same negative marking most Government and PSU technical recruitment exams use, plus sectional tests if you'd rather drill just one subject. Every attempt ends with a full report — section-wise breakdown, question-by-question review, printable, and you can retry immediately.

Nothing on this site requires an account. Quiz scores and test attempt history are kept in your own browser, not on a server, so there's no sign-up wall between you and the material. The site carries some display advertising to cover hosting costs, kept well away from questions, answers, and download buttons — see the Privacy Policy for the details.

This is a work in progress maintained by one person, so new topics, papers, and sectional tests get added over time rather than all at once. If a subject you need isn't here yet, it likely will be. If you spot an error in a note, a wrong answer key, or anything else — the contact page is the fastest way to get it fixed, usually within a day.
